Artist's Statement

The US instills war and forces our democracy on other countries all over the globe.Who are we to force our democracy on other countries when ours has so many flaws itself. We subject our cattle, pigs, and chickens to horrendous inhumane conditions. We are out of harmony and touch with nature and a sense of community in order to lay way to strip malls. We live in a country where people can't afford medical care and medical companies support the illness of its people in order to fuel its profits. We live in a country where the banks and corporation's swell of greed has become fused with the government. Joseph Campbell once wrote, " Man should not be in the service of society, society should be in the service of man. When man is in the service of society, you have a monster state, and that's what is threatening the world at this minute."
