Will the Museum be open before Warm Up?

Before Warm Up, MoMA PS1 is open 12–4 p.m. Doors for Warm Up open at 5 p.m.

Will the galleries be open during Warm Up?

Yes, Warm Up attendees are welcome to visit the galleries to see the exhibitions on view until 9 p.m.

Who selected this year’s performers?

Warm Up 2023 is organized by MoMA PS1 and led by Kari Rittenbach, Assistant Curator, with Nick Scavo, Senior Project Manager, Music, Performance, and Events. A group of New York-based artists linked to the city’s sound, music, and nightlife scenes served as this year’s host committee: Meriem Bennani, Patia Borja (JUICY), Raúl de Nieves (Hairbone), Joni (Intima), and Mike Pollard (Nina Protocol).

What should visitors with a physical disability expect?

MoMA PS1 strives to create an accessible environment for all visitors. Our building entrance has a ramp and power-assist doors, and wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. The building has wheelchair accessible, all-gender restrooms on the first floor.

The Courtyard is covered in gravel, with a concrete pathway to the entrance ramp. Limited seating is available in the Courtyard, terrace, and inside the museum.

Visitors should anticipate loud music and may want to bring earplugs. Service animals are welcome. They must be leashed for the duration of your visit.

Will there be food and drinks?

Yes, we're excited to offer food by Street Vendor Project. Enjoy tacos, tamales, samosas, and more while you refuel for the dancefloor. Vegan, vegetarian, and halal options will be available.

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will also be available on site until 9:45 p.m. Please note that we do not allow outside food and beverages, but attendees are welcome to bring empty, refillable water bottles.

Will there be water on site?

Yes, free water stations will be available to all attendees.

Will ear plugs be available on site?

Yes, complimentary, disposable ear plugs will be available at the main entrance.

How old do attendees need to be?

Attendees of all ages are welcome. Tickets are free for children under 12.

Is smoking or vaping permitted?

Smoking or vaping is not permitted at MoMA PS1, including in outdoor areas.

Are animals permitted?

Pets are not allowed. Service animals are welcome and must remain leashed for the duration of the event.

Is a coat check available?

A select number of lockers are available on the first floor for visitors to use free of charge. Lockers are 15 × 17 × 18". Please do not store valuables in the lockers or leave items overnight. MoMA PS1 is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

I live in Long Island City. Can I get free entry?

Long Island City residents with proof of residency in ZIP codes 11101 and 11109 receive one complimentary ticket per event on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that a limited number of tickets are reserved for Long Island City residents at each Warm Up event.

I’m a student, can I get discounted admission?

Student tickets are available for pre-booking online and require a valid ID upon check in.

I’m a MoMA member, can I receive discounted admission?

MoMA member tickets are available for pre-booking online and require a valid membership ID upon check in.

Can I leave the event and come back in?

Reentry is permitted through the main entrance.

Are there rain dates?

Warm Up takes place rain or shine. If the event is canceled due to weather or other circumstances, refunds will be available.
