As part of Homeroom: The Revolution is a School, Slow Factory hosts a series of workshops and conversations fostering social and climate justice learning. The series extends Slow Factory’s commitment to the classroom as a revolutionary space, situating social change, artmaking, and community building as intersecting practices.

This is Not a (Climate) Drill is a workshop on climate preparedness, facilitated by Celine Semaan and Sophia Li, originally debuted at the TEDx Climate Countdown. Inspired by school fire and tornado drills, the workshop brings together leaders across various disciplines to consider how and if their industries are ready to respond to a climate crisis through interactive soundscapes, design thinking sessions, and critical problem-solving.
