You’ve surely seen them everywhere: on light poles, street signs, underpasses, and even the side of the highway. These “Cash 4 Cars” signs, omnipresent in New York and cities across the country, are endlessly fascinating to artist Nick Relph.
We joined Nick on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn to scan these signs—part of his process for works like those in The Gatherers.
