Join us for a full day of free activities for all ages that celebrate the opening of four new exhibitions. Explore the cutting-edge of culture with tours, talks, and artmaking activities. Meet the artists, learn about their exhibitions, and get a behind-the-scenes understanding of how they create their work.
Bring the kids for a drawing workshop taught by legendary artist Alanis Obomsawin, or drop by the galleries to hear Whitney Claflin read poetry. Pop into our bookstore to pick up a signed copy of Julien Ceccaldi’s latest comic or a creative gift. Spend time outside in our courtyard hanging out on Yto Barada’s sculpture Le Grand Soir and take in views of the LIC skyline.
For a night you won’t forget, attend a kiki ball, hosted by artist DonChristian Jones, and featuring some of the city’s most exciting performers. Whether you’re only in town for the weekend or looking to explore in your own backyard, don’t miss this one-day-only Open House at MoMA PS1.
