About the Host Committee

Kay Gabriel is a writer and Editorial Director at the Poetry Project. Her next book is Perverts (Nightboat, September 2025).

Maggie Lee is an artist based in NYC. She works in various media including video, sound, zines, painting, collage, and installation. She is represented by Jenny’s, New York; House of Gaga, Mexico City; and Édouard Montassut, Paris. Her videos are distributed by Electronic Arts Intermix.

Enyonam Afi Amexo is a cultural producer and poetic thinker rooted in ancestral kinship and creative risk. She translates rhythm, memory, and infrastructure across borders—between disciplines, geographies, and cultural forms—building pathways toward liberatory sonic and spatial futures. Her work has spanned core roles with Dweller Festival, Paragon Broadway, De School Amsterdam, Herrensauna, and Oroko Radio.

Ser Serpas is known for her paintings, installations, and sculptures made from found objects. Her work is featured in The Gatherers, currently on view at MoMA PS1, and in institutional collections that include the Museum of Modern Art, Warsaw; Hammer Museum, Los Angeles; and Pinault Collection, Paris.

Gage Spex is a Colombian-born artist and performer. In 2011, they established The Spectrum, an iconic queer underground community arts space and nightclub that later transformed into The Dreamhouse (2016-2019). Spex’s work and their collection of over two hundred dolls currently feature in an exhibition at Salma Sarriedine in Lower Manhattan.
