Will the Museum be open before Warm Up?
Yes, MoMA PS1 opens to the public at 12 p.m. on Warm Up Fridays. There are no admissions between 3 and 4 p.m.
Will the galleries be open during Warm Up?
Yes, Warm Up attendees are welcome to visit the galleries. Please note, select galleries may close early. Check out exhibitions including The Gatherers, Alanis Obomsawin: The Children Have to Hear Another Story, and more.
Will Yto Barrada’s outdoor installation be open?
Yes, visitors can sit on and explore Yto Barrada’s Le Grand Soir during the event.
Are there discounted tickets?
For entry to all six Warm Up dates for the price of four, a season pass is offered for $95 until July 18. Student tickets and MoMA member tickets are also available for pre-booking online and require a valid ID and/or membership ID upon check in. MoMA PS1 Patrons at the Court Square level and above receive free admission to all Warm Up events.
I live in Queens. Can I get free entry?
Long Island City residents with proof of residency in ZIP codes 11101, 11106, and 11109 receive one complimentary ticket per event on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that a limited number of tickets are reserved for local residents at each Warm Up event.
Until when are advance tickets available?
Advance tickets are available until 4 p.m. on the day of the event. After that point, day-of tickets are available on site and online.
Who selected this year’s performers?
Warm Up is organized by the MoMA PS1 curatorial team. Each season, an invited host committee of five artists, musicians, and writers active across New York City’s club and independent music ecosystems serve as program ambassadors and provide artistic recommendations. The 2025 Warm Up host committee includes Enoynam Afi Amexo, Kay Gabriel, Maggie Lee, Ser Serpas, and Gage Spex.
Who designed the set?
All 2025 Warm Up events take place on a set designed by artist and musician Jeffrey Joyal, who performed recently at MoMA PS1 as part of the band Stubborn.
What should visitors with a physical disability expect?
MoMA PS1 strives to create an accessible environment for all visitors. Our building entrance has a ramp and power-assist doors, and wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis. The building has wheelchair accessible, all-gender restrooms on the first floor.
The courtyard is covered in gravel, with a concrete pathway to the entrance ramp. Limited seating is available in the courtyard, terrace, and inside the museum.
Visitors should anticipate loud music and may want to bring earplugs. Service animals are welcome. They must be leashed for the duration of your visit.

Will there be food and drinks?
Yes, we’re excited to offer food by Street Vendor Project. Enjoy tacos, tamales, samosas, and more while you refuel for the dancefloor. Vegan, vegetarian, and halal options will be available.
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are also available on site until 9:45 p.m. Please note that we do not allow outside food and beverages, but attendees are welcome to bring empty, refillable water bottles.
Will there be water on site?
Yes, free water stations are available to all attendees.
Will ear plugs be available on site?
Yes, complimentary, disposable ear plugs are available onsite.
How old do attendees need to be?
Attendees of all ages are welcome. Children under 12 may attend free of charge when accompanied by an adult.
Is smoking or vaping permitted?
Smoking or vaping is not permitted at MoMA PS1, including in outdoor areas.
Are animals permitted?
Pets are not allowed. Service animals are welcome and must remain leashed for the duration of the event.
Is a coat check available?
A select number of lockers are available on the first floor for visitors to use free of charge. Lockers are 15 × 17 × 18". Please do not store valuables in the lockers or leave items overnight. MoMA PS1 is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Can I leave the event and come back in?
Re-entry is permitted through the main entrance.
Are there rain dates?
Warm Up takes place rain or shine. Warm Up performances are only canceled or delayed in the case of extreme weather, which may require adjustments for visitor safety.
Are refunds available in the case of inclement weather?
Refunds are not available in the case of rain and inclement weather, unless the event is canceled.
