Join us for a conversation between artist Iiu Susiraja and Assistant Curator Jody Graf to mark the launch of Iiu Susiraja: A style called a dead fish, a new publication accompanying the artist’s solo exhibition at MoMA PS1. Susiraja will join virtually from Turku, Finland—where she lives and works—for the conversation, which will explore the development of the artist’s singular practice of self-portraiture over the past fifteen years. Additionally, Susiraja will read a selection of her poems—published for the first time in the exhibition catalogue—in both Finnish and English.
