MoMA PS1 welcomes the Queesboro Dance Festival—a summer tour of free outdoor dance, parties, and classes by Queens artists and companies of diverse cultures and styles—to the 46th Ave plaza outside the museum. Join us for Salsa n Samba Vibes, an afternoon featuring performances by Queens-based groups Flamenco Latino, Drye/Marino Dance Company, and Cucala Dance Company. The afternoon will conclude with salsa lessons from Cucala Dance Company and an open dance floor accompanied by the band Os Clavelitos. The day is free and open to the public.

Since 2021, MoMA PS1 has partnered with the NYC DOT to launch the 46th Avenue Public Plaza as part of our commitment to share resources and open space with our communities. We collaborate with artists and organizations to program the plaza with events and activities for local residents that foster connections and contribute to a more vibrant NYC cultural landscape.
