Join the Studio Museum 2020-21 Artists in Residence Widline Cadet, Texas Isaiah, Genesis Jerez, and Jacolby Satterwhite for a series of events organized in conjunction with their exhibition at MoMA PS1. All programs will be streamed on Zoom and feature live CART captioning and ASL interpretation.

Widline Cadet will be joined by artists Didier William, Madjeen Isaac, and Abigail Lucien for a multi-generational and multi-disciplinary conversation between kinfolk of the Haitian diaspora. More information here.

Jacolby Satterwhite will be joined in a roundtable conversation with artist Derrick Adams and scholar/curator Tavia Nyong’o on topics including the journey from emerging to mid-career artist, the symbiosis between painting and performance, and virtual reality. More information here.

Audiences are invited to listen to Genesis Jerez’s audio piece, A Prayer Group, created as an extension of her paintings. The piece is available here from February 10-16, 2022.

Texas Isaiah will be joined in conversation by bearBOI, Terrell Brooke and C. Riley Snorton.
