Alumni Showcase: Young New Yorkers

Join this Open Studio to see new artwork and meet artists from Young New Yorkers (YNY), an organization that transforms lives through art, activism, and social welfare. A community partner of MoMA PS1, YNY encourages youth to become leaders using creativity and advocacy, inspiring positive change and build brighter futures. Head to Classroom to learn more about the work created in Art Diversion Programs, including R.A.R.E. (Re-imagining and Recreating Experiences).

Throughout the event, attendees will have the opportunity to explore a diverse showcase of artwork by former R.A.R.E participants. YNY Alumni are invited to reconnect and share their experiences, while also leading engaging art workshops for the public. In addition to the showcase, the artists from YNY will lead drop-in journaling and collage-making workshops for all ages, creating a platform for artistic self-expression and connection.
