Help Shape the Future of MoMA PS1
Giving at MoMA PS1 means supporting boundary-breaking ideas and practices that center artists, engage communities, and embrace collective action. To achieve our mission, PS1 receives support from a constellation of donors—including individuals, trusts and foundations, and corporate partners—whose generosity is critical to shaping our future and enabling us to realize artists’ visions. Annual Exhibition Fund
Combining a fast-moving, provocative approach to exhibitions with the direct partnership with artists, MoMA PS1 presents an extensive program of exhibitions and events in its nearly 125,000-square-foot repurposed school building in Long Island City, Queens. Unlike other museums, where exhibitions are scheduled years in advance, PS1 maintains a flexible calendar. While this affords PS1 the freedom to present “of-the-moment” work, planning time is significantly shorter—often no more than three to six months. The PS1 Annual Exhibition Fund was created to help ensure the success of this vibrant program of exhibitions within a shortened time frame.

Annual Gala
MoMA PS1’s Annual Gala is the museum’s largest fundraising event of the year. The Gala benefits PS1’s general operating fund, which supports our wide range of artist-centric and community-driven programming.
The 2023 Annual Gala returned to MoMA PS1’s courtyard on Wednesday, May 10 to honor PS1 Board Member Robert Soros, and artists James Turrell; Daniel Lind-Ramos, whose landmark exhibition El Viejo Griot — Una historia de todos nosotros opened in April; and Anicka Yi.
